Virginia Housing is a Top Employer for Interns in 2026

Virginia Housing was recently recognized by the Virginia Talent + Opportunity Partnership (V-TOP) as a recipient of the 2026 Top Virginia Employers for Interns award. This year’s award recognizes 161 employers from across Virginia who provide high-quality internships to students.


Virginia Housing’s intern program is built on offering hands-on experience, access to senior leadership, structured mentorship and professional development opportunities, diverse hiring practices and competitive hourly rates. 2026 marks the fourth year in a row that V-TOP has recognized Virginia Housing with this award.

 

“Interns play a vital role in our success, contributing ideas and enthusiasm that elevate our organization, and being recognized as a top employer for interns is an honor,” said Virginia Housing CEO Tammy Neale.

 


V-TOP is administered by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia in partnership with the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Virginia Business Higher Education Council. It is funded by the General Assembly’s Commonwealth Innovative Internship Fund and Program.
